I purchased a 2011 nav unit for my 08 C6, but I need my VIN to be married to the nav unit as I have the "TheftLock Activated" message. I called a couple Chevy dealers in my area and they all want $100+ to do this.

Does anyone know if any Chevy dealers in this area who will do it for less or any members in this area that may have a GM Tech II to do this for me? I will be glad to pay a little something for someone who does have a GM Tech II in the area.

This is hilarious. I did actually end up going to Joe at Powertech, but I didn't see this message in time. Such a coincidence that I actually ended up going there. He charged me $40. Wonder what he would have charged me if I told him you sent me haha.
