C4 Headlight repair shop near Asheville??
I just purchased a 1996 Collector’s Edition and both headlights need repair (sounds like the gear is worn on each side as it keeps ‘working’ after turning on/off). Do you know any shops in the Asheville, NC area that knows how to repair them? I went to my trusty local guy but he doesn’t have a clue. I’ll travel anywhere to be honest, even Atlanta. I just want it done right.
Thanks for any help.

If you are handy, you can buy the bushing and search the forum for instructions, it's easy or you go to e-bay and buy motors, and replace them.
I remember when I had my C4 under warranty they replaced both motors, very expensive, then years later I bought bushing and it took 45 minutes side, most important tool is 3/16 punch to knockout the drift pin.

Thanks! I have seen the videos on youtube. I'm just not comfortable enough to do the job. I'm just not a mechanic other than oil changes and simple filter replacements. I hope someone here can recommend someone.

I'm willing to travel to Atlanta or Charlotte to get this done right. There must be a reputable shop around. Just need first hand positive experiences. Thanks!

Just a BIG Thank You to Joey Cartee (a long time member here) for fixing my headlights. I wish I knew him before I mistakenly bought new headlight motors that I didn't need. Oh well, live and learn. If anyone needs two new rebuilt headlight motors I just put thm for sale here in the C4 section.
