Hey Brian,

Here's a little background on the plate for you. The plate says 'BEAMLET'. I had it on my first car when I met Steve and it's been appropriate for every vehicle I've owned (since I like to drive fast), but it is most appropriate for his Vette. (The only reason it didn't get put on my Vette was because we still had the Impala SS, and it was the plate on that car.)

Since I work at Jefferson Lab (which was formerly CEBAF-->Continuous Electron Beam ACCELERATOR Facility) the plate is two-fold. At the lab, the electron beam begins its first orbit in the accelerator tunnel at the injector. At NEARLY THE SPEED OF LIGHT (how appropriate!!), the electron beam circulates the 7/8 mile track in 30 millionths of a second. Pretty fast huh???? And these beams are called 'beamlets'....

Since Steve's Vette is quite the sleeper (as long as it's sitting still :lolg: ) this plate fits it perfectly, since most folks won't know what it actually means! Aren't you glad you asked! ;)

:seeya

Nice wing "Beamlet" If you had put it on the white car Steve would have to get an FAA licence to "fly" it

Happy New Year Guys :chevy

Hi Ron,

Happy New Year to you and Donna! Yep, I think I've romped on everything I've owned, but now I can back it up! :lolg: If it helps with my gas mileage, I'll let you know and maybe you can get one on yours! :blueangel:
