Default Ratpack Attacks the Dragon. The Dragon Bites Back

Three members of the Ratpack attacked the Dragon on April 17th 2004. The morning started with a surprise breakfast with Woopie Goldberg appearing at the Cherokee Casino. On the way to Deals Gap we found a road even better than the Dragon. We met Ron from SMC and ran the dragon with a group of Toyota Spyders who videoed the run with a camera mounted to the side of the car. In two weeks this will be availabe on <midsouthspyders.com> .On the second run with Honda 2000's Jerry left the road in a spectacular manner. He made it home and will be at Skyline next week. Repairs will be done later. Jack ,Dave, and Jerry are ready to go back. Enjoy the pictures.

Wow sorry about the damage, that trip really has been on my list before I move to Michigan in May but alas don't think it is going to happen for now.

See you guys saturday

Dave,
I saw the video and pics of your "mishap". Some of us Ratpackers need to get up with you guys and have fun on the "serpent" sometime soon. Those twisties are a lot of fun but not very forgiving when it comes to making even the smallest of mistakes. Your car didn't look too bad considering. Hope you are able to get it fixed soon.

Thanks! I would love to go on the Dragon... even with the accident, it was the most fun I have had with my clothes on in a long time

Just got the list of damages from Hall Chevrolet. Two new right side wheels, replace right side rocker panel, replace the front air dam(they call it a valance) and some paint on the bottom of the door. Worst of all I hurt my pride. Repairs to be done in May;didn't want to miss Skyline weekend. :nonod: :nonod: :nonod: Jerry

Hey, just wanted to see how the red Vette is. I was one of the two S2000s stuck behind you guys going through The Dragon. Next time, pull off to the side and let us faster cars go by. ;) My buddy had the black one behind you guys and I was in the yellow S2K. That was quite scary being behind all that off road action.

C   L PICS!! I was in the black vette...and yes it was  !

I have been quite impressed the last couple weeks with the S2K, seeing them at an autocross and now on the Dragon. That is quite a group of enthusiasts that gathered that day to "Wake the Dragon"!
