Pictures!!! Pacific Grove and Beyond 8/17-19/01
Warning!!! This photo album is very large. These are pictures of the Concorso Italiano; Pacific Grove Rally and Dinner; Monterey Historics and the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance. I just got off the road and spent the last few hours downloading these. I didn't edit everything very well; so sue me later about the blurry ones!
"Thanks" to Mikegoat for doing this again. Same goes to the "Unleader." A special public "Thanks" to my buddy/brother Jim. He stepped up big time. For those that are aware; you know what I'm talking about. Herb and Linda for sticking with me at the PB Concours. Wish OJ and Jean were there too. To all CF members and friends; we have a very, very good thing going on. http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/magredtoo...Beyond&.view=t

Larry,
Thanx for the wonderful memories of this weekend, and for a chance to "see" the Concurso Italiano through your lens. Linda and I had a great time with all of our old friends, and enjoyed the opportunity of meeting new ones. A BIG thanks goes to Jim for his most generous hospitality on Saturday night and Sunday... :yesnod:

MagRedToo,
Great photo article of this past weekend's events. Of course we would expect no less than the best from you as you are the expert. Looks like you all had a great time. I ran into a group of Corvettes in Columbus that were having a Sunday get together. Sure made me miss my Vette.
Am going to Bowling Green on Tuesday and Wednesday then back to Ohio for the Mid-oHIO ALMS races on Sunday.
Look forward to seeing all of you at the next event.

What a super weekend! Thank you for sharing the pictures.
I am not aware of any quality combination of events like these in the Southeast. I envy you the opportunity of doing this kind of weekend within a couple hours drive.
Californians have always known how to appreciate fine cars and how to show them in the best places.

Larry,
Great to meet you last weekend!! Your photographic talents are awesome!!! I thought about posting some pictures of last weekends events, but after seeing how professional yours look, decided you have the whole weekend very well covered!!
With your permission, I've selected several I'd like to use for a pending project. I'll e-mail the numbers to you in a few days...
Thanks!
Terry

Larry,
As always, you did an outstanding job of covering the event. If you missed anything I'm not sure what it was. It's nice to see the pics from Pebble Beach- unbelievable cars that most of us can only dream about. Thanks for all the hard work. It was nice to see you again.

Larry - thanks for the photo memories. It was great to finally meet you, Jim, Herb, and some of the other "usual suspects" we hadn't hooked up with before. Great weekend! I especially enjoyed learning how "not" to do a burnout in the Watsonville RR Inn parking lot! Thanks to Ray, mikegoat, dawsc5 and all the rest for a great non-event.
Home safe by 6:00 tonite, along the other SoCal contingent - except for George, who I think was still enjoying his company's hospitality....
I had an "interesting" tangle with what appeared to be a new 911 Turbo along the way, & will post separately in GenDiscussion. Suffice it to say, the Z can hold its own... :D

MAG RED TOO,
Great job on the pix. You have now been unofficially deemed the unofficial photographer representing the usual suspects.
Steve Hummel, Terry Corp and others it was fun to greet you and meet you. I off the general discussion page to read about Steve's tangle with a Turbo. Didn't Road and Track just publish an article on this same fight . Winner by knock out and undefeated champion is the Z06. :chevy :chevy :chevy :chevy :boxing

Steve,
Great meeting you and the Missus this weekend. I was also impressed by your ability to hang with Ray and Eric as they tried to show the partying superiority of the Usual Suspects...
Hope to see you again soon.

Nice pics Larry. I can always count on you to capture every Ferrari at the track.:D
I was out of town and couldn't make it this year. I wanted to come and show off my new plates but there is always next time.

It was truly an awesome weekend. It's unfortunate that with all of the action that there was hardly any time to get together with everyone and just take time to sit and talk...
Thanks to Mike and everyone that helped get the events setup and we'll see you all again next year!
Here is a link to our various photo albums from the trip...enjoy!
