Corvettes & Cobras GTG...San Diego Mission Valley..Sat. 5-06-06
Monthly reminder: 8am. Fenton Plaza (Costco/IKEA) west of Qualcomm Stadium. Meet at west end of parking area near Starbucks. 
Should be a good gas & go weekend with the SCMR XXII also running on Sunday.

FYI....I talked to Ed Zimmerly today at the El Cajon Cruise. Ed is a writer for Overdrive Magazine and will be joining us Sat. the see what our Vette & Cobra group is all about. He wants to put together a write up about our group, so I hope alot of you can make it down. Ed was impressed when I told him about our short history.

We gather in the west end parking lot of the Fenton Plaza near Starbucks. The center has a Costco and IKEA store. Just off Friar's Road a few blocks west of the Qualcomm Stadium. From your area, take the 5 to the east 8 freeway to Qualcomm Way exit north.

Hi guys,
I'll probably see you tomorrow morning around 9 or so. I'm just curious, I know we have SCMR on Sunday but is anyone from SD going to the first annual Riverside car show Saturday?

Hey Bob...I read about the show too, but bad timing for me with the SCMR on Sunday. We'll have two big shows here in a couple of weeks.
I'm curious if anyone from MVCC or SCMR would want to attend as a group.

BTW, had a nice showing of vettes and cobras this morning. Two more new Z06's. About 15 cars all together that decided to get "up" early. Even Bob came dragging in with the Impala, but not at 8am!!

at work every day at 6:00a Eastern Time, which means you're all still tucked away nice and snug in your jammies.... Just kidding of course...but fixvet said the San Diego "group" (note I didn't say "club") gets together alot and drives "even if there isn't a place to go" (borrowed from the Tampa Bay Posse "group").
There have been many "groups" created around the country. We started the Smoky Mountain Cruisers in Knoxville which is forum based.
Dennis and I are looking for a "few good men"...or someone that would like to be the area Regional Coordinator.
Let me know if you think someone would be a "natural"...
