Sean at Ultimate Auto Care does excellent workmanship.

http://www.ultimateautocare.com/ultimate_shield.htm

When Sean did my C6 18 months ago he would do either 3M or Venture Shield, clients choice.

I have the 3M material on a Millennium Yellow C6 coupe.

The 3M has done very well for 25,000+ miles and a deer collision.

The quarterpanel under the deer impact still shattered (65 MPH), but none of the shards delaminated from the bra film.

Say hi for me if you contact him.

Good luck, and be sure that you are using a quality installer -

I have seen some marginal installs in the last year - a rushed install yields noticable "strech marks" from drawing the film over the contours too fast.

I had my car tinted at www.astroeclipse.com and was happy with the result. They also do clear bra, which brand I forgot (I didn't do the clear bra however).

I used Clear-pro out of Temecula. He comes to your location. I had a custom install done and was very satisfied with the work as well as the price...about 1/2 of the other quotes.

Glad he worked out well for you. I was (and still am) happy with his install of Venture Shield nose and rocker panels on my C6Z.

IMHO - The installer/shop is the most important aspect of the clear bra, because most of the films are of equal quality. I received some great suggestions from members. Thanks, I'll let you know how it works out.

Default Clear Bra At Sticky City

I got the VY C6 Clear Bra installed today at Sticker City. They did an excellent job in 102*+ weather. The service was first rate with a very competitive price.

Glad you liked the job they did. Just wait until all the water underneath dries out and you wash it, it will look...well...almost clear!

As we speak...oops, as I type, I'm sitting in the waiting room at Invisible Edge in Riverside. So far great service AND they provide DSL for your laptop while you wait...can't beat that! I'll chime back in, in a day or two with my thoughts, etc.

07Vette99, I'd be interested in your review of Invisible Edge! I'm looking at Sticker City, too.

My Vette will be coming in through Power Chevrolet in El Monte and they have someone who comes to the dealership to install the 3M film. It's tempting to get it done right away and have the protection from mile one, but I may not have a chance to see other installations they've done first and from what I've read here, it all depends on the installer.

I'd be most comfortable with an installer who has had a few positive reviews here. I'm in the San Gabriel Valley, so I'm keeping an eye out for these somewhat local, reputable installers....

Victor at Invisible Edge did an awesome job on the 3M clear bra. I could not be happier and definitely recommend him and his shop without hesitation. One reason I went with Victor was because I read many great reviews of his work and he assured me, he would be the installer. Again, I'm very impressed with his work. Good luck and I hope this helps.
