93 Octane in Southern California (Orange County)?
Anyone know where, or what gas chain, sells 93 Octane in Southern California (particularly the Orange County area)? I can't find any higher than 91 octane, and would love to try 93 just to see if it makes a difference...

You won't find any since it's not legal in CA except at a racetrack.

There is a station in Fullerton that sells race gas (>100 octane) near Commonwealth and Gilbert.
There is also a station in Orange on Chapman near Prospect that sells high octane (>100).
Or you could do what Steve LuVisi does for his L88..., have it delivered in 55 gallon drums at about $5.50/gallon.

91 plus 1 quart of Torco mixed in a full tank will put you between 93.5 and 94 octane!

There are a few 76 stations that will pump 100 octane -- the list used to be online, but disappeared when they merged content with the Phillips site. Memory serves, the 76 station in Corona del mar had race gas as well.

I can't find my listing, but there use to be some 76 stations that sold 100 unleaded at the pumps. One was on Village loop in Pomona, and another was just south of the 10 freeway on Azusa, I believe. Since 76 is no longer the NASCAR gasoline, they may not have the 100 octane at the pumps anymore. I do know that 76 still makes the 100 octance, because J&R Shell in Pomona sells it in 5 gallon containers.
