Default Firecracker Cruise.......San Diego....7/5/08

Meet at: Fenton Plaza (Costco/IKEA) west of Qualcomm Stadium off Friar's Road in Mission Valley. Meet at the west area of the big parking lot near Starbucks.

Starbucks
2245 Fenton Pkwy
San Diego, California 92108-4737

When?: Saturday July 5th. 7:30-8am, anytime before the 8:30am sharp departure time. Be sure to Gas up early, then come down to kick some tires, shake some hands and have a cup of java before we roll! (Leave your M-80's at home)

Why?: For those of you with nothing better to do......but to take a nice safe SE county back country cruise....with a couple of stops for the old people! We'll also take a break at Golden Acorn Casino....eating is up to you. We plan to be out of the hills by noonish so everyone can get home for a Saturday afternoon holiday nap!

See you Saturday,

Dennis, rumor is your airplane is powered by an all aluminum big block Bowtie, I guess that's why you didn't want to show the engine. I want a ride in that badboy.

You're right Rog, I couldn't afford an F-14 like you have! But, it can still hang you from the straps!

Anyone remember the Oldsmobile TV commercial where they hoist the engine outta an Olds and install it in a Cessna then fly it?

Hey Paul...We'll hit some of the roads between 8 and 94 as we roll out east and back. I've got about a dozen different routes, w/maps, that we've used the past several years on MVCC runs that are alot of fun with very little traffic. If you need specifics.....feel free to call.

I've got family coming in town, so I will be unable to make the drive tomorrow, but I would like to swing by, grab a cup of joe and meet some of you guys.

By the way, by the looks of my odometer (and many other parts on my car) it's quite possible that I could be experiencing a "roll over" on the trip next week (7/12), if I can manage it just right. 182 miles away from 99999. What better way to "start over" than with an awsome lineup of 'Vettes and Cobras on a cruise!
