Default Corvette in the snow...

Not my cup of tea, but to each their own, from the C5 general section for your enjoyment,

I wouldn't do that with my Vette or any of my other cars, but at least it's winter there. Give me some snow it's Christmas!!!!

I would never do that with my Z06. No way will it ever see snow. I don't even like taking it out on cold nights because I don't want it to get that frost/ mist layer on it.

I could not even imagine trying to drive my old car with the roadrace tires in the snow.

This had to be purely for picture purposes, otherwise why would the people's in the back be posting on the Forum

It'll probably be a story with pictures to tell every year at this time! Would be my guess!!!

Thanks,Matt

Why not? It's just a car.

Just a car! Is baseball just a game, Tiger just a golfer (Maybe I should not use Tiger as an example), is Pizza just a meal. Taco just a snack, NO!

My wife's Rav4 is "Just a car" ...

No a corvette is a Icon, for me ... the ultimate toy.

Sure it's an icon and to some, the 'ultimate toy'. But at the end of the day, it was meant to be driven. Rain, shine, whatever. It's not made of Gold, and it won't melt when it comes in contact with water or snow.

C5's, C5 Z06's, C6's, C6 Z06's, some stock, some heavily modded, even a Ron Fellows C6 Z06 for good measures. All being driven in the rain on a corvette run last January. Somewhere on the internet are pictures of these cars parked at a pit stop with snow alongside the pavement. I guess we should feel lucky that none of them were hurt during that event.

I live in a snow area, my corvette is not my preferred transportation when snow is on the ground. It has seen snow and rain and done Ok. But it still is not "just a car" a very fast car yes. But not just a car.

Seeing your responses, you missed my point. Oh well.

My idea of a Corvette in the snow Bob!

Isn't the little black button on the console for traction control?

Maybe I can give it a push as hard as I can!

OK, just let me cry here for a few minutes!

These boots weren't made for walking! I wonder how far is the nearest tow truck is?
