Orange County Car Show - Images
Kent and I went to the show - here's a few images - there were a lot of normal production cars - BUTT - here are the cars we enjoyed the most - enjoy or not!
The nicest car there - Ferrari 458 Italia - MSRP on the car is only $225 but there selling for $300K - not sure how much the new Vert is going to cost.
Lexus LFA - very nice car this is! Not sure about the $375K price tag - only 500 are being built with 173 coming to the US
Nice BIG Brembo ceramic brakes
Audi R8 V10 - Vert - about $170K
Lambo Aventador - insane stealth looking car - their newest with 700hp - $400K
A ZR1 in the new Gay Blue - how sad it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it would look better in the sun? There was a GS there as well.
The new Boss 302 - was pretty nice in person - it even had RECARO seats and Brembo brakes as did the CTS V's they had displayed - BUTT - not in the Corvette
CHP's newest weapon! I know I can out run this one
Ford's HANK made a showing
Fiat 500C - $20K - yea that's what we said!
The race version had bigger tires and rims with a strip - almost KOOL - not really
Mini Coupe - $40K - that's right 40 grand - it has a fully moveable and deployable rear spoiler - that's $10k of the price and the top has been chopped about 2 inches over the stock coupe - making it KOOL!
The NEW BUG - AGAIN
Some of the other odd cars at the show
Kent doing what he does - an ex-Micheal S Ferrari - which he won the 1996 F1 Championship
This Camaro had a very nice engine bay
Best use of a Mustang I've seen -
This Lambo was a $250 advertisment for a watch company
One of the few cutie's talking about their products - there were a lot of Amazon Women there - 6+ fooooooters!!!

Well retired but not completely. The photo business keeps me busy especially during the summer months and you know they make me go to Hawaii, Vegas and Palm Springs each year. Plus the sports events, weddings and Glacier National Park assignment. I had to turn down another beauty pageant assignment in Sun Valley, Idaho as I have a more profitable wedding to shoot in San Diego at the same time.
When I'm not on assignment those vettes definitely get driven. Next week i'm off to Tahoe and in a couple weeks off to Sequoia/Kings Canyon!
Retirement? Whats that!
