Quick question for you regular track guys....I plan to hit the track a lot more next year, for now with street tires (Michelin Super Sports/PS2), and maybe Toyo Proxes 888's when those are done. So, Im looking for a more track dedicated brake pad, Im guessing the Hawk HP+ wont cut it. I have my eyes on two sets, Carbotech XP10/8 combo and Hawk HT-10's. I like the Carbotechs because they start working at 200* vs the Hawks at 300*, for street driving to and from the track. I plan to use regular oem blank rotors, throw away as needed. What do you guys think, overkill or decent pads?
Btw I was thinking of Carbotech XP8's all around but it looks like theyre recommended more for cars under 2400lbs. Dont need brake fade after a straight like WSIR or ACS.

Canyon Run Videos sharing Corvette Challenge drivers videos with the GoPro HERO
Canyon Run Videos will be at the Corvette Challenge Final at WSIR on December 8th. Our auto racing videos are totally sick with multiple (5) GoPro HERO cameras, separately recorded CQ quality stereo audio and GPS acquisition for our on-screen instrumentation.
We just acquired 10 new GoPro HERO3 cameras and the new GoPro suction cup mounts. We now can fully setup four different cars at the track at the same time with our 20 GoPro HERO cameras.

I sometimes wind up driving for a week of daily driving on my DTC70 and never have any issues with stopping when pads are cold.
