Default Upgrade C5 Vert for sale

Hey guys, as much as I love this car, its time to move on to a dedicated track car, and am going the route of a lightweight club car like a hyabusa powered thunder roadster.

Wife says I can't have two big toys, and I don't have room for both either way.

The drivetrain work was all done by Charlie and crew at RPM, and the suspension work was done by Lang Racing Development.

This car is a steal at this price as it would take at least $35,000 to build it yourself.

Freshly upgraded and refurbished 1998 "Little Red Corvette"

500 HP (426 to the wheels) With a power and torque curve that almost exactly matches a C6 ZO6....We set the engine up to put the peak torque in the funnest and most usable place in the RPM range....this car is an absolute blast to drive as a daily driver, track day car, or Sunday cruiser....no high RPM diva here that only has power at the very highest RPM's where no one actually drives around at.

The engine only has around 6000 miles on it since the rebuild and upgrades, we built it right to be durable and reliable as a daily driver that can also put up some great times at the local Autocross or Track Day....the car has had 3 HPDE track days as a shake down to make sure everything is in tip top shape and was not pushed to its limits.

The heads are carb certified AFR 205's and the cam was selected to give maximum midrange power and still pass the smog sniffer test.

All of the rotating parts that go bad over time on the accessory drive have been changed and/or upgraded for reliability.

The engine is in tip top shape and will serve as a great daily driver for another 150,000 miles with basic maintenance.

I've spent over $17,000 in upgrades to make the car corner like its on rails and still be comfortable and reliable as my daily driver.

Upgrades include but are not limited to:

-Upgraded interior to modernize the car $1,000
-Bimarco Futura Seats....$1,000
-AFR 205 Small Port High Flow Heads $3,000 installed
-223/227 610/613 Torque monster cam $3,500 installed with the crank pinned
-Patriot Extreme Springs (still new) $500
-Comp Rocker Trunion Upgrade
-LS7 Lifters
-Power Steering Fluid Cooler
-Ported Oil Pump (great oil pressure even in high G turns and while running at higher engine temps)
-LS7 Clutch, Brand New, holds all the power while keeping OEM drivability ($1,000 installed)
-Remote Clutch Bleeder
-LS6 Intake Manifold $400
-Ported Throttle (Ported by Formato) $130
-LG CAI $180
-New AC Pump
-New Water Pump
-New Power Steering Pump
-New Tensioners
-New Belts
-New Crank Pulley

$700 installed for those last 6 parts

-New Kinetic Slotted and Drilled Brake Rotors $500
-New Hawk Performance Ceramic Break Pads $300
-New Advan Neova ADO8 front and rear tires 305/30/19 rears 265/35/18 fronts (super sticky street tires $1500
-Lightweight LED Headlights $400
-Custom Rear Fascia with Blackout kit
-Double Adjustable Coilovers at all four corners $2000
-Hotchkiss Sport Adjustable Sways Bars wit upgraded metal end links....car is nearly perfectly balanced between under steer and over steer. $450
-Delrin Power Steering Rack Bushing $300 installed
-Speed Density PCM Tune by one of the best tuners in the Country $600

You'll be hard pressed to find a more reliable, better performing, and better looking car for the money.

And there is not much funner than cruising a SoCal canyon with the top down and 500 Horsepower at your fingertips.

Send me a TEXT if interested.....priced to sell fast, need room for a new toy.

Since these pictures were taken I've added a $500 wolf Race Craft bolt in four point roll bar that can be removed and put back in fairly quickly and easily.

$19,350

This car is one hell of a bargain...

THANKS!

Also, I was thinking I might take the interior back to stock except for the seats this weekend.

What do you guys think?

Might make it easier to sell. It's currently a little too "loud" for me, personally. Regardless, the car seems like a helluva deal.

Okay fellas, need to move this one out of here to make some room....so I'll price drop it to:

$17,900

Can't go lower than that as I can part it out and pocket a bit more than that price ;-)

Are the stripes on the fenders painted or stickers?

Decals....they come off rather easily...I had to replace one when it got scratched at the shop....all the appearance mods are easily removable for a more stock appearance.
