Default Need C6 for prototyping - Free parts for whoever helps!

As the title states. I need someone to bring their car down to Fullerton, it will be needed for a couple weeks. What we are doing is making a C7 conversion for the C6. Basically we'll be buying all the C7 parts (almost every body panel) and cutting them up and basically pasting them onto C6 panels that we already have.

We will not be using any of your panels and the car is fully insured etc. it's just a matter of test fitting really. Whoever wants to participate would get everything we make for free, hood, front and rear fenders, front and rear bumper. I will see if I can find the photoshop pix that I had of what we had in mind and I'll post them up.

Keep in mind, you will get all the parts free but they will still take a few months to get everything made. Pm me if you're interested. Thanks.

As promised, a few pix of what we have in mind. I know it won't be for everyone, I get that, but I'm sure there will be some that like it.

Let me know if you do not get any local takers and are willing for shipping both ways.

Well yes and no. Same manufacturer but not sure if the front will be a couture piece yet or not. I want it to be because I do not want it to be a fiberglass front bumper. Know anyone?

I may need you if your interested in flared fronts, I'm doing those soon too.

I like everything except the back end. I would be in for a front end and rear fenders. Do you want a base model or GS/Z06? I might be willing to drive my base C6 out from Phoenix and leave it for a couple weeks. I'm on E85 though, so I'll need to find some stations to stop at on the way.

Sounds good to me!

As for a C6, I am in the market for one actually. Maybe this will push me to actually pull the trigger.

^^^^

Bob and his Corvettes is a great guy to work with, plus he doesn't need the car back right away as it is not his daily driver.
