I had a nice 1st session, and did a few laps in the 148 range. With the help of Ed, I had 5 cameras going on that session. I'm working on that video now.

Late in the first session, my clutch felt weird, so I called it a day and got back up the mountain with out a hitch...

Was a nice day, we missed you Howie!

With a great tow from Tim and my new R6's, I managed a 1:49:1 ...

I'll get video up when time allows ...

Was great to meet Jim Tway as well ...

Thanks to Ed for coming out and hanging, and taking some shots for us!

Joel, glad you made it home!

Not even close Howie... I never got over 150 on the straight and was usually going through T 1 - 2 at around 120-127 ... I think I made up for that lack of jock size in the infield to get the decent time

I should have video in next day or so.... got a few things on the plate here ...

I don't know what run group you were in but you got "zero" point bys. You may want to move up to a higher group.

No. I meant the run group with all the SUV's. The one where Turn 1 is the end of your driveway.

Sometimes the road is clear, other times people pull right over, and then there are times I learn true patience...

That's why I still like the track.

That's DH. Always raising the bar.

Still, I am surprised Dave didn't get over 150 on the straight. It's easier to do that than do 120 on the banking. And he has 50 more horsepower than I do and I saw 153.

Wow, great time Dave!!! Hopefully, you aren't driving to and from each event on those R6's.

yeah DH, you're probably right... I'm sure my times would have been much better with a better understanding of how to approach the front straight into 1 and 2 ... but honestly, with a street car and no cage (and that WALL), I'm not that anxious to go any faster there!

I was also shifting to 5th (most of the time, if even briefly) which slowed me down, but also not wanting to push the revs in 4th, so, all those factors contribute to my sub 150 speed.. I think I did hit 150 actually a few laps.. (and no Peter, not driving R6's to track.. Tim Fitz was nice enough to bring them for me!)

Here's my 2nd session ... laps 5-8 are best ...

Hey Howie,

Can you please check to see why my first session was not recorded, I did turn in a sheet, and ran 1:48.6. I'm listed on the regular results, but not the challenge.

Thanks!!
