The Mission Valley Corvettes and Cobras is a compilation of Corvette and Shelby Cobra (or any of Carrol Shelby's cars) who believe that their cars were intended to be driven. Basically they beleive in cars that are fast and loud. They get together once a month and go on a run, then have lunch. These are not parade runs, but spirited. However, common sense is a requirement.
The MVCC was on the forum a lot several years ago. But when 30 to 40 cars started showing up, with many of the participants driving like it was an outlaw race, we decided to go underground. The group is a lot smaller now.

No need, we will meet at the IKEA parking lot across from Costco off of Fenton Parkway. It is just a few hundred yards west of Qualcomm Stadium on Friars Road.
I think I saw you at Carlsbad Cars and Coffee a few weeks ago. I was with the group that was with the Black, with a White stripe, Shelby Cobra that got everyone's attention when he started up to leave.
Edit: People start to arrive around 7:30, and we leave at 8:00 AM.

100% incorrect information. We left posting our runs on CF because of idiot trolls who would post total BS on our threads and ruin our runs.

Poppy and PLRX are also right. One troll even threatened to call CHP and inform them about a group of "high speed Vettes" in San Diego county.

A good time was had by all. We went up the Sunrise highway. Came across a Subaru STI and had some fun. A modified Porche also arrived to play. Definitely one for the memories.

Nice pic Looks like it was another small showing for the run. I would have made it but didn't get enough sleep during the week so really needed to sleep in.

Bottom line was this to many hi perf cars driven by people with .50 brains. We had drivers meetings prior to each event warning about reckless driving habits. Finally several were asked not to show up any more, and we stayed got things under control. THERE WAS NEVER ANY RACING!!!!!
