I don't think most if any have run that config before so PB would be expected. But sounds like everyone was very FAST from Tim's accounting.

May have broken a motor mount late in session 3, but drove it home 250 miles on slicks, and made it back up the mountain in one piece!!

Rest of the day went well, new PB 1:56.1

Peter, I believe they call it #15 CCW ... which is #13 CCW without Phil Hill, so our guess was 3 seconds faster time difference with the long back straight ... (DH, you might want to edit the initial post here, as it was NOT #13 CW)

Times posted already on SV web site... was certainly a good, fun, FAST day....

My car ran fantastic! Will post vid as soon as I get it together...

Edit --Actually Howie, the date is incorrect as well at the top post here... says Aug 9th -- for ACS!

Hey Dave,

Nice time you ran!!!

I have never run 15 CCW before but it would be nice to try some different configurations.

See you soon.

Only was getting up to 135mph, but that bump going to Phil Hill was exciting.

Dave, this was the video about the optimal T9 at Willow I was discussing. http://bit.ly/1uygZqv Now go hit that exact same point of tarmac coming down from vette speeds

No particularly good video from me this time out.

I did get around to dynoing my car this week - something seems a little dubious (big variances between runs)

I don't think there is a lot of variance. Were they run back to back or lots of cool down between runs. The TQ is more consistant and very good !!!

Here is a video I put together of Dave and I. I synced up both our cameras before we left the pits, then edited them all together...

Here is Madman Phil in his bone stock C7, I believe he ran a best of 1:57xx. It's just a one camera rear view, but he is ON THE GAS!!!

I spent a lot of time on the dyno with my Prelude...it would draw lines on top of each other, run to run. Reasonable timing changes would not make that kind of variance. 15hp run to run is gigantic.

The guy running the dyno turned the car off between runs 1-2, 2-3 which did not make a lot of sense, but that was the only weird thing going on.
