Default Reliable performance shop in SoCal

Hello! Just got home from purchasing my first ever Vette--2005 C6. I have wanted a Vette pretty much all my life, and finally pulled the trigger. Not exactly my "dream" version of the Vette, but the price and car details were perfect for now. I am not new to the performance scene--my two most noticeable vehicles are a 2006 S2000 with many upgrades that made 500rwhp on a mild tune and a 2006 Evo IX with minor upgrades that made 450awhp.

I am very familiar with tuner shops for Hondas and Evos, but have no clue on Vette shops. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? My first task will be to have a complete inspection of the car done. From there I will start evaluating simple bolt-ons (may already have a Flowmaster exhaust) and I am very interested in an E-85 tune (haven't researched what the car will need to run E-85).

Appreciate any help you can offer!

RPM Charlie has been working on modded Vete's longer than some of these guys have had driver's licenses. Great guy, but from what I hear Ryan is a good choice also. Know many many Vette guys who have used the services of Charlie and Ryan on highly modified Vettes both come with strong creds!!

yes

Charlie did all the work on my 99 FRC with a 402 and T Trim Supercharger with meth injection. Pulling over 700 rwhp and 650 rwtq. Ran so hard it would effect the rotation of the planet !!!

Sounds like a quick car!

Unfortunately that shop is a fair distance from where I live. I don't mind driving ~100 miles to a shop, but that shop is too far.

Ryne at CMS says that South Coast Speed & Sound is pretty good. He does tuning for them. They are in San Diego.

Looks like you're only about 50 miles away from CMS, I'm a little farther then that, and make the drive whenever needed...

Ryne's Tuning is Top Notch, and Mike and Javier turn a mean wrench.

I concur - just a little zip up the 15 for you. I go nowhere else. You'll be OK if you make it your first, last and only choice.

Ryan dyno tuned my 2011 CTS-V Coupe and installed an aftermarket dual exhaust system. Did a very good job! Made more rear wheel hp and tightened up my automatic shifts. I'll be taking my new Z06 to him once it's broken in!
