Thanks for this info. I've really been wanting to give this a try with my '08 Z51 and sounds beginner friendly. I can't make this one but will keep an eye open for future events.

Any prep needed on the cars other than just good maintenance? I want to track but not wanting to beat her up.

It was cold in the morning, but the track warmed up nicely later on.

Just to clarify, do you have to have tow hooks installed on the front and rear of the vehicle to participate or just identify locations that you are "ok having damaged" if necessary to tow your car?

This event was put in by Extreme Speed. They didn't require tow hooks. They are, of course, a good idea. But I didn't have them. I plan to for the next event.
