Well, I think we made the best of a so-so day. We got some good cruising in before lunch, even though the roads were a little damp.
I would like to extend a heartfelt apology to Carl in LA, who got separated from us just before lunch. Somehow I forgot about your gold C3, and I didn't wait long enough at that last stop sign before we moved on.
I do hope you'll join us again if you had fun today. Our usual leader should be back next month, and these things rarely happen on his watch.
The old stud fell behind the young bucks but that is the way of life.
At the turn I choose to head back to Santa Clarita.
Very enjoyable and mildly heart pumping keeping up as long as I could.
