Default Kenwood DNX890HD

Does anyone in San Diego-Riverside area have the Kenwood DNX 890HD (or similar unit) installed with working Bluetooth? I love the unit. It's sounds great. The Garmin GPS is awesome. But I can't get Bluetooth to work. Wanted to get with someone who is familiar with Kenwood units who can possibly sort this issue out.
This may be an easy fix but when you are dense like me nothing is easy!

Thanks.

You didn't say what you are using the Bluetooth for. If you are trying to pair it up with a cell phone, it will pair up, then drop after turning unit off. It will work on certain cell phones, and not others.

Sorry. I am trying to pair up with a phone. I have tried paring up with an iPhone and an Android. It will not pair. I have one (or more) of the settings on the receiver set up wrong but I can't figure out which one(s).

Thanks for responding

Yes, I have one in my 08 Z06 and it works nicely. Both for the iPhone as well as the Pandora radio on my iPhone.

Send me a pm and we can arrange a time to gtg. I live in Vista but am in RSF often for golf on weekends.
