Need a break this weekend and thought about visiting a local speed shop any suggestions?

Safety Car
I wish I could help.
The highest quality shop I am aware of in Redondo is Fast Cars, on Mary ann drive, off of 190th , but they are an exotic restoration shop. THey might direct you to your goal if you call them . They are pretty nice and have always been helpful with sharing resources with guys like me. I think they enjoy a low profile, I see some very valuable cars there, I sometimes swing past in my travels around town.
Lomita has a speed shop, builds engines in the back, sells parts up front, I think it is on Arlington ave , I was only there briefly , looking for corvette resources.
I often ask corvette owners for shop suggestions. Most go to dealers or do their own work, not my preferred answer as I shun the former and resist the latter.
I have seen posts here about American Heritage performance in Harbor City, and intend to check them out , but have no personal experience there .
Not exactly sure what you call a speed shop, but please let me know what you find.
