Best SoCal Chevy service dealer
Who does everyone recommend for taking your Z06 in for service? I have some very friendly dealers around me, but they aren't very familiar with working on vettes and I want my warranty work done by someone that knows what they're doing.

Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge. A hike for some but definitely worth it.

I've had good luck with the service dept at Glendora Chevrolet. Ask for Chuck. He's a straight shooter and gets stuff done promptly.
Their sales dept is another matter. 10K mkt adjustment on a Z06 etc. No thanks.

depends completely on the mechanic (now called techs since they only replace things) that works on your car. the service writer, manager, parts guy and others don't count.
even if you hear of a good tech trained on Z06, there is no assurance that they will be assigned to work on your car.
i am still searching for a socal area dealership/tech that will fix some ongoing problems with mine after 4 attempts.

I thought Donny at Rydell was the cats meow? Are you not telling us something?

Had Great Results from Donny
FYI - I live in Seattle and have him do the work when I'm going to track events in SoCal.

They also found some coupons for the service and saved me about $100. Every little bit helps.

I use Paradise Chevrolet in Temecula. They seem to know what they are doing on Corvettes and sell a good amount. Rydell is probably one of the highest volume dealers. Paradise did the oil change without the Mobil 1 issue and they also have the specialized tools for doing the proper alignments including rear caster on Corvettes. It would be about a 45-60 minute drive from OC.

When my flex plate went out I needed to find a dealer that I felt comfortable with to make the repair. I had Connell fix mine and do not have any complaints. Initially I went down to Paradise Chevrolet but the service manager told me they have done hundreds of flex plate repairs on the C7. Yeah, sure you have. Then I asked them if they had a specific tech for the C7Z and he said no, all of the techs are the same and can fix anything. Lastly, I noticed 4 C7s (2 Z06s) sitting outside with windows open waiting on parts or whatever so I took a pass on that one. Ymmv

I have been going to Connelly Chevrolet in Costa Mesa for a decade. They did the warranty work on my C5 Z06 and my ZR1. Bought my Z/28 there along with my Z06. They have always been good to me.

see Todd at Connell, stay away from Simpsons in Irvine...like the f-ing plague.
I bought my Z from Selman...500 mile oil change and a seat recall, no issues, but Todd is a vette guy and he took good care of me when I had the C6 GS and the C7 Stingray.
FWIW I was referred to Todd by GM after a horrendous experience with Chevy Irvine (aka Simpson) after buying a brand new 3LZ Z51 in Jan 2014. They are 2 mins from my office and I wont even get an oil change there.
