reupholstered seats
I have an '07 in Silver and I've been waiting for 8 years for that crappy Corvette leather to wear out.
So 8 years later my left seat bolster was ripping. I don't know if you ever watched the show Overhaulin' with Chip Foose but he would always take his cars to Bill Dunn upholstery in Huntington Beach.
So last week I took my baby there and had them do the seats. The results are amazing! They came out perfectly, he even matched the Corvette logo on our passenger dashboard to the headrests. If you live in Southern California and are thinking about getting some interior work done I would recommend Bill Dunn highly.
So, what do you think?

Very nice... I personally would recommend Ramirez in Rialto. he has done numerous corvettes and is extremely reasonable.

I have about a 2in gap on my drivers seat. SO if you say he's good, then I'm going to check out his shop.

My seat has that same hole in it. Factory option?
Your new ones look great.
I've been thinking about having mine done. How long did it take him to do them?

I learned early on it is person doing the work, not the cost , that determines the value of the completed work. Learned it from a mistake, of course, my way of just keepin' it real.....sigh.

Just for the record.... I believe Bill Dunn is a "They" not a "He". When I worked with them years ago they told me that Bill Dunn was no longer in the picture but they kept the shop name. Maybe that's changed and he is back I don't know.

No you're absolutely correct. Hectors owns it now. But would you want to take your car to Hector's reupholstry?
