If you are interest on doing a 3-day run to Lone Pine, Mt McKinley, Death Valey, and June Lake send me a PM.

I already discussed this with JimMan, and Varmit and they are aboard.

Dang, we had such a great time on these trips. We might be up for another if the timing is right. I looked everywhere for my pictures but can't find them. The drive up 120 to Tioga Lake was awesome as was lunch at the Whoa Nellie Deli at the Mobile Station, which is always fun.

We'll never forget Jim's surprise visitor either

I brought jello shots to a lone pine run and a certain someone showed their ***** and made some people a little uneasy 😄

Did I miss what weekend you're thinking about Pete?

Another good memory is being "followed" by the Mammoth PD into that parking lot and after a couple more arrived, we started taking pictures with them and a couple guys possed as though they were being arrested. Good times and they were very cool.

I haven't been on this site for years but that doesn't mean I haven't been in touch with the gang of yesteryear.

I remember the first trip that I put together offering free pizza and beer in Lone Pine. I had just bought my new 2004 yellow Z06. Little did I know that that trip would result in bringing strangers together that meshed like old friends and years after would get together each year and have a blast like a bunch of kids. Good, no, great times for sure! Oh the stories that we could tell lol!

Seeing the old names here and looking at the pictures brings a tear to my eye. Funny who remembers what on those trips. Each memory response I remember as if it happened yesterday.

How about when Tony Mamo blew his tranny and we had to have his car towed from the Death Vally Chevron gas station? It's now some off brand station.

Jim, I'm glad you reached out to me today and we were able to text back and forth. We were just talking about you at Stan and Kelly Barbers Christmas party!

This is so cool.

To all who were lucky enough to have been a part of this family, Karen and I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And to the Corvette forum members, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too!!

We'll see you all in 2016 for a grand reunion huh!?

Stano and Karen

Fk'ing Mamo.....sprayed half the other cars windshields with gear lube that were trailing behind him!!

Whats up ex-Stano.....what the hell man.....long time (and I split the case of my differential btw.....not the trans for the record....LOL)

No Vette?? Cmon man....thats just wrong!

Hope all is well....would love to tag along on another Lone Pine run time permitting. Im sure you also remember loaning me and my wife (at the time), your Acura so we could continue on the cruise with you and the gang (thank you again!).

Anyway....stumbled on this deal and had to say hello.....Most of my time is spent running Mamo Motorsports now and I'm completely out of my mind busy but would love to see you guys if I can get away (not sure of any actual dates yet?)

Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays.....and buy a new Vette for Christ's sake.....just seems wrong!

Regards,
Tony

PS.....Even funnier is the quick blast I took you on before we went for the cruise is the shift I lunched the rear on with the new Exedy clutch which just hit too hard!

Yo Tony!

I knew my heartfelt BS would flush you out sooner or later but damn...not this early

Yeah, that was one hell of a day for sure and we all had a good laugh, except for the dude that was behind you getting a lube wash LOL! and of course you

Hell, he may even chime in and want some cash back for a detail that I'm sure cost him a pretty coin!

Mamo Motorsports huh? Details....

My vette went to New York after I blew the motor at Willow Springs in the rain and Charlie had just built a badass motor for me. I'm still in touch with the guy that bought it but he has since sold it and now has a bitch'n vette road racer and a new Z06. He sold his Porsche race car and is a loyal Chevy guy now. I guess some good came out of that sale

Anyway as Karen says, we've gone from "low and fast to high and slow"

Great hearing from you and lets hope 2016 will be the year we all meet, cruise and swap stories over a few beers and pizza

Stano

P.S. Maybe we can do the Lone Pine yodel on the deck at Pizza Factory
