Just got back from having my C7 done at Tint Masters in Montclair. Kent and his helper did an absolutely awesome, high-quality tint application on my C7. I was amazed at how skilled and efficient these guys are - they don't look like they're working quickly but they must've finished 4 different cars, including mine, during the couple of hours I was there!
I had Kent apply 3M CS35 (35%) to the front side windows and 3M CS20 (20%) to the rear side and hatch windows - came out gorgeous and exactly what I was going for in color and darkness. The rear dots/logos came out perfect and we all know how difficult those are.
I had a nice chat with Nancy, Kent's office coordinator, and she filled me in on film properties as well as short and long term care of the film applied to my C7.
I found out about Tint Masters in this SoCal section by searching for tint shop recommendations and Kent at Tint Masters came up so frequently as the go-to shop that I had to check them out. Thanks to all who posted their recs for this shop here - their service and prices are absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend them if you're looking to tint any of your vehicles. And they are just great people too - made the experience interesting and fun.
In my case, the rear tint made positioning of the rear glass back up into the convertible top on my C5, to re-attach where the old glue failed, a cinch.
Are you completely sure you want to give all that up?
