An awesome event!
I've been to a lot of car shows over the years. These guys do a great job with this show. Highly recommended. This isn't your average "park your car in the parking lot" show. Not there's anything wrong with that but this show is certainly a notch above that. Great location and good people running things! If you're thinking about coming out it really is worth it!

I would say the majority of those that purchase a ticket are not doing so to enter a car for judging, we just like to park at the show and walk around and support the USO. Up side, you are right there and you don't have to worry too much about where you parked your car. Possible down side, you are there for the duration of the event 0700-1600 so bring a chair. Weather report shows high of 71 partly cloudy so if the wind picks up a little, it can get rather cool right off the water if you are not use to it. See you all next Sunday

Not sure what post 22 has to do with it; however, you won't be able to just leave. Granted, if you have an emergency they will work with you but the cars are packed in there rather tightly. Last year I was parked in the back along the water and a row of cars had been parked right in front of us. The only way to get out would be to locate several drivers and have them all move their cars to let you out. Now, if you checked in at just the right time and had been directed to just the right spot that allows you access to leave without involving other cars then you might get away with it. Additionally, the only way to drive out is on the one road that is all pedestrian traffic for the show. JMHO but if you purchase a ticket and park on the grass, expect to be there until the show is over. Here is an example of the parking:

You're right. Parking is tight and we are on track to have over 400 cars this year. One club is bringing 45 cars! But if you need to get out, we'll do our best to make it happen. Plan on staying for the day though. We have a new food vendor and 12 vendors selling car stuff. Gonna be a great show! Thanks for all the kind words guys. We appreciate it! Dave. Bring a sweater - the weather might be a little chilly... but it won't rain! I guarantee it! See you all there.

My neighbor and I drove down this morning from Granada Hills. Had a great time checking out all of the cars, and I mean a lot of cars. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere in a great setting. Will return next year.

Once again, it was a great show. Thanks to the members of NCOCC for all their hard work! Here are my photos (I'm partial to the older cars!)
