Best dealership to buy a new C7?
It saddens me to say but my new Stingray was in an accident yesterday morning. I had her at a shop of a "friend" and he went over the car a little and told me that with the most obvious stuff and other stuff he found while digging around, she might be totaled. He's estimating an easy 33k worth of repairs plus anything else that might be found (cars worth 57k). She's now at another shop but I should be getting word Monday or Tuesday.
Now if she is a goner, it's time for another one. Where do you guys suggest I go? Any good experiences? Know of any "hookups"? I have had one of the most horrible car shopping experiences ever at Sage Covina Chevrolet or else I'd go back.
Thanks for the help everyone!

Hmmm really? I've heard some horror stories from other Chevy customers but I don't know of anyone who's bought a stingray from them. I'll give them a look soon.

I was late for work so threw my stuff including breakfast on the floor so I went to grab it when I saw traffic coming to a stop and I guess I misjudged everyone's breaking rate, so I didn't break in time to keep myself from ramming into a lifted Toyota Tacoma with a tow hitch.

Rotolo in Rialto (just off of the 210 three miles east of the 15) seems to sell a lot of Corvettes. No first hand experience but they are only 10 minutes from you. Worth checking them out.

Forum dealers are 10-12% off MSRP.
Order from them and arrange a courtesy delivery to a local dealer.
Check with Kerbeck and MacMulkin.
You can email them your build and ask for a quote.
Or maybe a local dealer will match their quote.....

I bought mine from Win Chevrolet since they allowed for military/supplier discount. I was told Rialto also offers supplier pricing as well. At least that was what I was told by a salesperson over the phone last summer.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Keep them coming. I went to the one in Ontario, city of industry, and upland and so far only city of industry took me seriously. Ontario guys were like meh, the sales guy at Upland was nice and took me seriously but his manager seemed to brush me off and not give me any sense of care.

Nick at Selman has sold me two Corvettes. Great, personalized help. No pressure, no manager he had to "talk" to, just a good, handshake deal and all was fine.

He beat me to it.
To answer the main question; I say there are no good dealers in CA. They love to mark up prices, and stab you over, and over again.
I ordered from Reilly Motors, and it was a great experience. Custom ordered first week of November, and it was parked in my garage Dec 23rd. Find a better place...

I live in Rancho Cucamonga so I know the surrounding Chevy dealers.
BIG no on Mark Christopher. Like you noted in your post of hearing about horror stories, they are most likely true.
Rotolo in Fontana. Don't waste your time. Tried to buy a vette from them twice over the last 7 years. First was my C6. Sales gal tried to sell me a beat up used one. Second time was to buy a C7 and they specifically told me they would not discount at all. Period. I got that from the General Manager that you may hear on the radio ads they do and just happened to hear the same from the owner who happened to be there.
Mountain View in Upland. Sale Manager won't discount under MSRP. Actually, they list over MSRP. They only get a couple of allocations. I do get my car serviced there.
I would go out of state and buy from any of the forums dealers to get the best price and stay away from California Dealerships. Best of luck

I just bought mine last weekend from George Chevrolet in Bellflower. They accepted my GM Suppliers discount and also GM points that I got from another forum member. They also price matched a quote I got from another dealer who was out of state. I also talked to Connell Chevrolet who were good albeit a little slow on the responding to emails adn such. I went to Rydell and they have a great selection and do the no-haggle pricing which is good I suppose unless you like to haggle with salesmen.
