Default Plethora of Porches

So I went to a PCA autoX yesterday. There were 40 Porches, a ford, a BMW, a Audi R8 and me (the only Corvette). I came in 5th place with one guy beating me by 0.05 seconds. One car was a trailered race setup on slicks and another was some 2016 GT4 with all wheel drive. So I did pretty well on street tires Probably would have done better but I DNS the last run going into turn around too hot

The actual time of this run was 58.85 but my best in the timed session was 54.77 but unfrotunately some how my Track addict got swithed to front camera and therefore it was pointed backwards durning the timed session.

Nice run Howard. Looks like they built a go-kart track and cars showed up. I would have gone home after the track walk. I also went to a PCA event in Orange County. Always my favorite. Video coming soon.

They do use a lot of cones. I suppose the German's need better directions to avoid getting lost, right? (tongue in cheek for all Porsche owners out there.)

Wasn't as bad as it looked because they opened it up a little. Like I said my timed run was 4 seconds faster but camera setting prevented the video to show you. That was a good run. It was a pretty good straight away

It was definitely a sea of cones when you looked down the runway

I've never been more proud of DH than I am now. Going into hostile territory and showing them how it's done. God bless America!

Agreed! DH you are an auto-X'er now. Well done.

Is Steve giving up some secrets or is he keeping them for himself?
