Sorry but I tried attending last year to do the same thing and I couldn't find the entrance.

Get there early and follow a Vette or Viper to the gate entrance.
Try 7:00 AM
Not sure if there is a fee.

Admission for spectators is free. If you are at gate 1V before 8:00 AM you should be OK. Everyone has to be escorted in and out. Gate runs will start around 10:00 AM. Tickets for the taco lunch are $10.00.
