Default Long Beach GP tickets & Corvette Corral

Just got my renewal and completed it via email for tickets to the LBGP and Corvette Corral April 7-9, 2017.
Don't miss out. Good time.

At the Long Beach Grand Prix, its a specific lot for Corvette parking only. It's right NEXT to the track. There is a BIG tent with chairs, TVs and drinks provided by Chevy. There is at least one new C7 on display inside the tent. They have raffles and CLEAN rest rooms. The Corvette drivers from the factory team stop by and sign autographs. It's a blast. They usually have about 100 Corvettes in there on Friday and 100 on Saturday. Always a great turnout. By comparison, the BWM Corral next to the Corvette Corral has about 10-15 cars show up and their tent is the size of two out houses. Pretty sad. My son and I go every year.

And during the autograph session, run out to the lot and grab your fuel rail cover. They were prepared and had silver sharpies. I put a little matte clear rattle can over them, and they've been baking in my engine bay for 90k miles now...still look brand new:

After reviewing the site and deciding what you want, call the ticket office at 888-827-7333. At that time tell them you also will need a ticket for the Corvette Corral. Can't remember if it is $25 or $35. Either way, well worth it!

Look like tix don't go on sale to the public until Oct 17...
Do you have to be a repeat customer to buy now?
No schedule out yet either.. I assume the main event is on Sunday?

Practice on Friday
Qualifying on Saturday
Race on Sunday

Lots of action all three days though. Not just Indy cars. There is something going on constantly. I have been going for 30 years and my favorite day is Saturday

Actually tickets on sale now are for repeat customers. When they are available Oct. 17th grab them. The Corral does fill up fast each day.
The Corvettes race Saturday. Indy cars race Sunday. Pick which days you want. Have fun.

My son and I really want to see the C7Rs run (GTLM). I guess that's Saturday? We'll take the '61 if I'm feeling lucky - otherwise, it will be the C5! Thanks for the info! I see you are in RB - I'm in Poway.

Attended last year. Lot's going on but note that to get to the Corral you need to drive on the beach. (Yuk) Water trucks run occasionally but not sure if that makes it better or worse.

I've been to all 42 LBGPs, all three days of most. I've driven several cars, including my 14 C7, and several SUVs on the path in the sand over 100 times. Absolutely no ill effect ever.

Yes, the GTLM race is Saturday. I can only do Friday (qualifying) this year but it is worth the drive. I got some outstanding pictures last year.

Tickets are now on sale to the general public.

For newbies like me: You have to call them to get the Corvette Corral parking.. you can't buy it on the website.

Looking forward to my first LBGP and Corvette Corral!

Ask for Tami Johnson, the ticket office manager. She's great to deal with. Tell her that George Johnson sent you.
