Default Chrome HRE 840R 18/19 wheels FS in C6Z/GS Sizes

I have a set of 18 x 9.5, and 19 x 12 Chrome HRE 840R wheels for sale.

I looked long and hard for a set of nice wheels that would allow me to use the stock sized C6Z06 tires I already had. I bought these from a fellow forum member a year ago and used them on the C6Z along with a couple of sets of 19/20 wheels/tires I have. So very little use since I bought thema and they were pristine at that time.

As you can see these have a slight bit more positive offset than stock to get the wheel further out to the wheel arch. Also these are mounted with 285/35/18 and 345/30/19 MPSSs so there is a lot more tire than if you mount the stock 275/325 sizes on the rims.

$2500 for the rims.

TTT. HREs are still available. In wide body C6Z sizes and in 18/19 so you don't need to buy new tires for your C6Z.

These are certainly high quality and beautiful wheels. I just changed my C6 into a wide body. Had the tires contained in these wheels ever made contact with the inside upper wheel well on either the quarter panel or fender?

Even given me running the 285/345 18/19 combo rather than the 275/325 combo they had no rubbing at all. Do note that HRE has a bit more offset to push the wheel farther out to avoid internal rubbing.

The real advantage of these wheels is for someone that already has good tires in 18/19 sizes. Most of the aftermarket wheels for the C6 wide body today are 19/20s and require new tires (about $2000 or more for MPSS ZPs)

These are real chrome HREs. They came out of HRE a few years ago when they still sold chrome plated wheels.

Then HRE went to a brushed polished cleared finish rather than chrome. Just recently they bought a polishing machine so they could offer full mirror polish with clear finishes again.

Here are pictures of a new wheel in the full polished chamber. Of course these will be in the $10-12 k range a set not $2800.
