Club in San Fernando Valley?
I'm in Van Nuys. Does anyone know of a Corvette club for the valley? I'm new to the Corvette world and wondering if people get together for local meets, drives, etc? I know there are groups in Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, for example, but with LA traffic being what it is, I was looking for something closer. Thanks for any info.

There were the beginnings of a club but a careless accident and implied legal action caused everyone to disband and go incognito.
There are no clubs serving the central SFV or Los Angeles areas.
An example of active Clubs overlapping or just outside of this area include:
The Vette Set - NCCC Mike Sparacino 23505 Torrance Blvd. Torrance, CA 90505
310-378-0211

Corvettes Limited - NCCC Dorthy McCain PO Box 661281 Arcadia, CA 91006
323-257-4346 bill@corvetteslimited.com http://www.corvetteslimited.org/
Red Line Corvette Club Don Sturdevant PO Box 2399 Camarillo, CA 93010
805-388-2479 http://www.redlinecorvettes.com/
Corvettes Unlimited PO Box 33433 Granada Hills, CA 91344
818-366-3687
Pomona Valley Corvette Association Ernie Aguilar PO Box 704 Pomona, CA 91769 ansel.boyce@verizon.net http://www.pvca.org/
Santa Clarita Valley Corvette Club PO Box 1175 Canyon Country, CA 91351 http://www.santaclaritacorvetteclub.com/
Those of us who live close in and who do not belong to a club communicates through the Corvetteforum Pacific Events section.
For example, please note that I am organizing an LA to Santa Barbara drive and brunch for Sunday, August 3rd. Also, LA is the car capital of the world. Get the free Drive and MissInformation magazines, which are given out at auto bookstores and the Petersen Auto Museum (www.petersen.org). Plenty to see and do especially if you like mingling with a wide variety of car buffs as I do.
Hope this helps.
