I have a C5 coupe, and I have autocrossed on and off for a few years. I think you and I may have met years ago at the Sagebrush Cantina.

I don't think you were drunk. It was a long time ago.

I'm currently signed up for an autocross in Fontana on Saturday, and money is a little bit tight, so I might not make it out on Sunday. I'm still not 100% confident in my suspension on sticky tires, so I'm taking it easy. If things go okay, maybe I'll come out and watch on Sunday.

Change the suspension, yeah, JUST BRING IT.
You need to upgrade the CPU.

So it was a little warm today but as always a great event, well run and organized by Darren and crew, we were done by 3:00pm. Donny was killing it right out of the box this morning. Brian brought is Massarati which was very nice but not an AutoX car. Gene pulled off one spectacular run in the timed session doing as well as Chris in his race prepped Porche .... those Z07's have awesome suspension and sticky ZP tires.

I screwed up in timed runs. I kept over driving, pushing, wheel locking the first turn out of the box which cost me at leas .5 sec. So below is my best run of the day in session 3 basically by going slow through first turn, 43.4 seconds. I also included the parade lap in case anyone is interested.

Sign up for December. It is 1/2 full already. Will start an event thread now

And I should have mentioned that this was a very exciting track layout.
Thanks Casey

My video showing how to get a slow time

Sorry about the lousy audio, new camera & I'm trying to figure out how to improve the production quality.

Brian, thanks again for the ride. Nice car !

Try changing your video setting to 1080 so your aspect ratio is not so square to improve viewing.

No problem, you're welcome. Maybe next time I'll take my Gumby green BMW Z3 out, I'm sure you will want to ride in that too

I did shoot in 1080, but the way I embedded the link made it scale down. Just edited the post, and it's showing full size now.

I also think I figured out the problem with the audio. Discovered the mic level adjustment, it was set to 100%, so I'll try cutting that down a lot .
