Last year, we all departed on the 'Tour" that doesn't happen from the cars N Coffee location in AV, as Sparky posted. I'll try to find out if that recurs on Saturday.

You know, one of these days you're going to write a post that doesn't have to be translated....

Not in my lifetime!

I've met the owner of the center trhu some car pals, so should be able to find something out. Doubtful that my Shinoda will be ready as finding a proper clutch master cylinder has taken so long, but Jim's come through, as expected.

The 'tour' is not an event; is not registered and while the press and some local gendarmes (can you say rvine?) have discovered it, officially doesn't happen!

It's just a happenstance gathering of car folks who temper their NY Eve celebrations.

It's a New Years morning cruise. I've done it the last three years, previously it started in Costa Mesa (they had free coffee and snacks and a rock band and maybe 300-500 cars) last year it started from Aliso Viejo Town Center in front of the Edwards Cinemas (with at least 300+ cars). The organization is quite casual but the route is clearly defined, handouts were distributed, for a non event it it quite popular.

I forgot the tongue in cheek! Actually, there is quite likely a legal basis for it "not happening".

Driven it in the Vette, the V8 '55 Nash Rambler and a Smart Cabrio.

All silver, 2008, with custom black leather seats and stock orange interior. It's way more fun than one might think, even IF you have to imagine UR going fast! Driving it hard lowers the mpg to 27, I found.

No news from CnC this morning re: Tour 2017.

I was hoping for some news.

That was the thing with the Smart, the mileage was always a poor second to the much larger Prius.
