Hey Jim! Redmond is actually a very quaint, beautiful area. There's not a whole lot to it, but it is centrally located. You can easily access downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland etc within about 15 minutes - depending on traffic. Lots of great restaurants around. Quite a few forum members up here as well. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ping me offline.

We will definately have to get together if you make it up here Jim. If you need anything send me an IM. The weather is starting to feel like spring, about 64 degrees today. Lots of traffic over on the Eastside (Redmond) too. Make sure you can take a couple days to see the sights.

If you have time, swing by Puyallup (Pew al up) I have a family entertainment business there. It's about 30-40 minutes from Redmond.
email me, we are going to try to set up some some other members together.

Use to live in Woodinville which is just next door. If you make the trip go to Chateau Ste Michelle. Wonderful little winery.
Have fun and take an umbrella :yesnod:

I used to spend some time on the MSFT campus in a "prior life" a couple of years ago. Nice area, and, at the time, some pretty nice wheels running around the area. Of course, that was when MSFT was $100+/share after god-knows-how-many splits, and it was common to see million-dollar homes advertised on bulletin-boards in the hallways....
One thing I did learn in my dealings with MSFT: a great bunch of very sharp and dedicated people!
