The Pavilions Car Show which is held EVERY Saturday has not moved anywhere. It is still held at the Rock 'n' Roll McDonalds in the same place with the same format as it has for 20 years.

Here's their new web site......

Yea common sense right? Been going for like 13 Years, but when I read cruzinarizona's website it took me by surprise. Pretty misleading.

Thanks for the Website.

The Prescott Vette Set car show at the Prescott courthouse plaza is coming up on September 19th.

I'm sure one of the members will be posting up information soon (if not already). It's a beautiful setting and lots to see adjacent to the historic courthouse and Whiskey Row.

Registration is limited...

Hotwheels57,
Thanks for mentioning our Historic All Corvette Car Show for this year. I have had a post for a couple of weeks now, but not in the SW section. That slipped by me...

Go to http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...n-arizona.html to view the details on our 3rd Annual Prescott Car Show on September 19th.

You can register by going to http://prescottvettesette.org/ and click on Register in the lower left corner. We already have over half our 200 car limit registered. The Reg fee is $30 + t-shirt by 8/19, after is $35. Reg check in at Cortez and Goodwin in downtown Prescott is 8am - 10am. Show is 10am - 3pm.

Also there is a BBQ Friday nite at Lamb Chevy in Prescott provided by Texas Roadhouse and is only $10. Cut off date is 9/5 for tickets. You will receive a raffle ticket for a set of 4 Michelin Tires to be donated by Ponderosa Tire Pros. A set of your choice. You can purchase additional tickets for $2 each.

This will be a great weekend for our Annual Car Show in beautiful Prescott at the Courthouse Plaza. Lots of raffles all day. Many Awards in all 6 generations. You can register up until the last minute or we have 200 Corvettes which is our cut off.

Hope to see some of you there,
Lyn

The Prescott Resort and Convention Center (Code EP99, 1-800-967-4637) is $89.

Spring Hill Suites by Marriott (928-776-0998) and Residence Inn by Marriott (928-775-2232) are both $109. No codes for these but rate is good until Aug 24th with 2 night minimum. Ask for Prescott Vette Sette rates to get these room rates.

Hey vette4lyn,

Are you involved with organizing this event? If so, you can help correct my mistake. I did sign up for the show and the BBQ 2 days ago. I signed up twice by mistake. The first time I was invoiced and corrected the second time around by paying through paypal. I sent an e-mail to admin@prescottvettesette.org to correct this, but no reply as of yet. I only paid once so no big deal to me, but I do not want to hold up an extra spot when there is only a finite number of vettes allowed.
Thanks

Thanks for letting me know this. It isn't a problem and our Registration Chairman will pick up on this. I will forward your info to him to give him a heads up. Glad you signed up for the BBQ too.

See you there,
Lyn

Thanks! By the way, which of the above hotels offers covered parking. That info. will make my decision of where to stay easier.

I know Spring Hill and Prescott Resort does not. I doubt that Residence Inn has covered parking either. That is pretty tough to come by in this town. Sorry

Oli,

That is one of the deciding factors on me staying overnight...I don't like my car not being safe and sound in it's room On the other hand, if you and my other homies are frequeting the Whiskey Row saloons..no way I'm driving anywhere after that. lol

My wife and I are staying Friday to Saturday. Whiskey Row is a must! I guess I'll be taking a car cover.

Cruisin' Main St. in Mesa, Sept. 26, 2009 Country Club and Mesa 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Event is held every 4th Saturday of the month.

Static shows are cool, but CRUISIN' is where it's at

Lyn,

Just checking....if you enter your car in the event, does the registration time dictate WHERE you will be positioned parking wise within the show, i.e. how can friends who participate in the show arrainge to park next to one another (if acceptable) ?

When are we to receive the tickets for the dinner, the shirt, or any other kind of confirmation of registration?

If you have friends participating in the Show, the best bet to park together would be to meet somewhere before the registration line and come in together. They are not able to save spots because of the parking configuration. You will have to enter together to be parked next to each other. Hope this helps! If you have further questions you can e-mail the Car Show committee at carshow@prescottvettesette.org
