Default DFW Weekly GTG: Hurst, Grapevine and Surrounding Areas

Weekly GTG in DFW: Hurst, Grapevine and surrounding areas

Meet when: Every Wednesday night at 7:00pm
Meet where: Rosa's Tortillia Factory in Hurst
Disclaimer: This is typically a "fair weather crowd".
If it's raining, or looks like rain, read the thread to see if
anyone is planning to show up.

If you live in the Hurst, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, Westlake, Trophy Club, Keller, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Euless, Bedford, North Irving, North Richland Hills, Watauga, Haltom City, Richland Hills, Fort Worth, Saginaw or most anywhere in northern Tarrant county, this is for us to meet up without having to drive 30 or 40 miles to meet other cool Corvette owners and shoot the shiznitz about our cars.

Next GTG: Wednesday (07/01/09) at 7:00pm
we will be meeting at Rosa's Tortillia Factory in Hurst.
It is at the northeast corner of the intersection of Precinct Line Rd. and Hwy 26 (Grapevine Hwy).
2200 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX, 76054

I look forward to possibly seeing some of you out there next time.

- Jim

Hey Ken, I see you got the first new post in.

Miss seeing everybody. I'll have to stop by with the truck.

The new Vette is coming, but I have property I have to sell first.

Fellow Rosa-ites (for those of you who remember little-ole-me ), I have some sad news. As you can see from the pictures below...

The car has been declared a total loss.

I'm fine, and was not injured. Nor was anyone else.

I guess now I have a standing excuse to "not" be at Rosa's each week?

I'll probably come by and lament with youze guys/gals this week. I need some moral support.

Gee, does this piece look important?

Oh yeah, it belongs down here!

WOW Jim, that hurts. Did the officer give you a ticket, or was he there to write a report?

Glad to hear you did not get hurt. Hey maybe a ZR1 for ya. I'm sure Bankston will still have theirs in Mar/Apr

I'm sure we can have her back and running in a couple of hours. Really SORRY that happened to ya. Feel free to come by the house any Wednesday and pick up one of my Vettes and you can caravan with Joe and I to Rosa's.

Yep, that's a little more than duct tape and polish can fix. Glad you OK and can talk about it.

What happened, someone run you off the road?

Default Jim

That looks like either col dhard, tires with no traction or too much beer.

Which One?

Sorry for your loss but I'll bet there is another one in your future.

That sucks about your car Jim. Glad you are OK. Glad you weren’t on your bike. It will be fun shopping for a new Vette.

Speaking of repairs.. The Texas flag decal on my hood did not work. They suggest getting a coat of paint on the hood to cover the primer. Any recomendations for a painter? I might see about just painting the flag on but at least a smooth coat for the decal to stick to if I go back that route. Thanks..
