New texas mile thread
Well, I finally hit 200, just took 2 years, but hit 200.3 mph. we only spayed 1 kit, 150 shot, never used second stage. our goals were to hit 200 mph on stock bottom end, now we will take apart and put in better rods end pistons, and a few other thing. next spring, we shoot for 210
Want to thank FIS performance for all the time we could get on the dyno. And thanks to Big Willie H. and Tracy for the hard work.
mods on car
mild cam, stock bottom end, headers, varam intake, corsa exhaust. stand alone fuel system. built trans from Six Speed Inc., custom tuning from FIS, nitro dave (chris) for support.
we also like to thank Mr. Patron, if not we would have not been drunk enough Sat. night!!!!!!!!
want to send congrats to all the vette guys to hit 200, it is that addictive. and as you know, it is that hard to hit 200mph

Congrats man!
It was nice to put a face to the name. The car was definitely rolling hard!
I made two passes Saturday. The first was like at 10:45am and I ran a 180 getting all over the rev limiter on the shifts. I hot lapped but due to a few breakdowns my next pass wasn't until right before the lunch break at 1:00pm, and all I could muster was a 179, even though the pass was clean. I think it was due to the headwind that kicked up, and the fact that the temp had jumped up a pretty good bit.
