Driving down from Austin.







We stopped for a break about halfway there and it stopped raining.



Once we got there, met up with a forum friend that I had not met in person, Page62.

Cleaned up the cars and went walking around. This car caught my eye. Talked to the owner. He bought it, had it painted and gave it to his daughter for her 16th birthday.

This was an open car show, so a lot of cool cars besides Vettes.

This car got a ton of attention from the young folks. The owner spotted me trying to snap a picture. He came over and talked to me. He was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. The gentleman getting out of his chair on the right side of this picture. This car is his pride and joy.





This one was for sale. I would have to enlarge my garage.

This show had it all. A dog in a stroller . . . .

We picked up some nice awards.



The weather was a lot nicer on the way home. I took the long way.

I forgot to mention that once I got there Ryan and Nathan helped me clean my car. They cleaned my wheels for me while I picked up the registration packets.

It looks like it was a very nice turnout. The weather didn't hinder any of the activities at all.

BTW, did you happen to see an '09 VY Z06? It belongs to a friend of mine from the Katy area. She just picked it up about 2 weeks ago.

We were there!!! It was a great show! Definitely going to try and make it next year! The weather is going to be perfect for the cruise today.
It was great meeting Grim Reaper, Page62, Cozmo and talking to Peter Pan again!

Believe me, that thought crossed my mind. The TCA always supports us our club by attending the events and we try to do the same.

I think we did. I saw a VY Z06 with paper plates. She pulled in just ahead of us and was parked down the row from us a couple of cars. I didn't get a chance to talk to her.
