Default Austin Corvette owner's monthly meet 6/6/09 - The Salt Lick

Well, the very first meet on May 2nd was a huge success. We had no goal, so nothing got accomplished except shoveling all the BS around. We had just over 30 people show up and we all had a wonderful breakfast and a little social time. We all got to make new friends. What a great bunch of people.
So everyone has been asking about the next event. It's going to be at the famous Salt Lick in Driftwood. It' just a 15 minute drive from the Y in Oak Hill. I will organize with the Salt Lick a special area for us. What would be cool would be to all meet at the Y in Oak Hill at 11am on June 6th and then all head out to the Salt Lick together at 11:30am and show up in an impressive numbers of cars all at once. So who's in?

Also, the Salk Lick is BYOB. So, if you beer drinkers want to pitch in, we'll just buy a keg!

The Salt Lick is CASH only. They do have an ATM machine there if you need one.

I saw this place when it was featured on "Man vs. Food", a show on the Travel Channel. You know it has to be good.

PS, I will try to make it out before 1 pm this time. Wash your cars, because I will be shooting everyone's vehicles.

EDIT: I just noticed that it's on June 6th. I am doing summer school here in Austin but I have no idea when classes start or if I will be in Austin that morning. I guess I will let you guys know later on.

I'm in. Meeting at the Y and cruising as a group sounds like a good idea.

Possibly in for this. I have vacation next month and if I can get my schedule right I should be off most of the month. I will possibly know later this week.
