I'll be there. Maybe +1.
I'll have to wear my helmet, however, and make sure my wife takes a Zanax.
Lime Creek Road is unbelievable! Lots of up & down and banked curves. First time for me...was very busy...watch the road, curves, tach, gears, cars in front, and the BMW & Porsche in the mirrors trying to stay with us. It got my heart pumping a little.
Opie's BBQ is special, so it's worth the trip alone.

Though we don't want to deprive George of the second hand smoke he so craves.

If the road wasn't so winding, I was tempted to pull up beside them and hold my thumb and forefinger up to my lips!!!

Won't have my car back from the dealership by then(they're fixing a major screw up to avoid a law suit). Maybe December will finally be the month I can show up.

I've already given notice to the wife to take a Zanax before departing. She always takes one before flying, so its totally appropriate.
Now is we can get someone to make sure there is no traffic control monitoring authorities on the route, that would cover all bases.

Hopefully we will see you in December.

I think I'll make it down from Killeen for this one... nothing on the calendar that day. Sounds fun... I drove Lime Creek road once with the Hill Country Drives group and it was great except for a big portion of it being loose gravel. That was unexpected for all of us.

Well, you might get to have the opportunity to experience me gracing everyone with my presence on the way back this Saturday. I have to go to Austin to pick the car up and turn in the POS impala they gave me for a loaner.
