If any of you guys want to be put on the email notification list for these gatherings pm me your address. Sometimes the start times change slightly as the days get colder or hotter during the year.

Wow! Sorry I left too early to see the Bug. Amazing car - with pricetags in Wiki starting at $1.550 M (yeah, that's 1-1/2 million dead presidents!) and a "Price as Tested" in in Car and Driver at $2.128M (Grand Sport), it would have been nice to see it up close and personal. I suppose the price-tag maybe includes the gas-guzzler tax .....

It usually show up every month, if you had it you would also. I just wonder how much it costs to get it serviced.

I know someone in NorCal who has one.. only oil changes and tires are done here. The factory sends a rep to look at the car for anything else and if it is at all serious (i.e. requires a bolt or nut to be removed) they pack the thing up and fly it to France... these guys are beyond my league.. I heard that the reg, insurance and sales tax was $300K - I bought my house before the boom/bust in Scottsdale and it wasn't a whole lot more than that! The wages of sin are very good indeed
