Dec. 5th: DFW Toy Donation Drive
On Dec. 5th, WDR328 (from Ferrarichat) & sponsors have organized a toy donation run for Christmas. I know they've already spoken to a number of local car clubs, but I wanted to post a heads-up. I went last year, and have to say that the drive was good, there were some impressive cars there, and that overall it was a lot of fun.
Parroting the event info from the thread:
The thread's full contents are here.
I'll do my best to be checking back here in case there are any questions. Hope to see y'all there!
EDIT: I had thought I had updated the title, but it only shows here, in the thread. This is NOT a Toys For Tots drive (which is a Marine trademark, apparently) but rather a toy donation run. I believe the group being donated to is supposed to be a surprise but will be somehow incorporated into the end destination, but I'm not an organizer and not totally sure.

I don't believe the end location has been posted. I'll ask and try to get back to you on that ASAP.
And yes, Corvettes are welcome (and that's what I'll be driving ). It's open to pretty much any make/model--last year there were Lambos, Ferraris, Lotuses, a Ford GT, Porsches, Corvettes, and others, of course.

Yea, Im going to bring her.
Gonna wait and see what happens Saturday morning. Supposed to snow on Friday - if they load up the highways with sand, I probably won't go. So it will be a game day decision.

David: I asked on Ferrarichat and this was the reply:
I really can't give that out because it kind of spills the beans on where we will end up I can tell you this it will be in the southern quadrant of Dallas County. I hope that helps
