Austin NCCA December 12th Event, Camp Mabry Toys 4 Tots

Will this event still be going on a little past 2 pm? I work on Saturday's till 2, and I would really like to attend. I work less than 10 minutes from Camp Mabry, and would really like to donate, as well as stop by and check out the cars. I left my C6Z at the Houston house when I got an apartment in Austin, but I have my procharged 427cid '88 here that I can bring by!

So far this is going to be a very successful event. I have received many phone calls about what kind of cars people are bringing and how many. Some guys are even bring their entire car collection (as many as they can fit in a 54' car hauler). There will be quite a bit of real race cars there too, not street legal. One car won the Le Mans.
I have about 30 to 40 toys to bring. I might need some help taking them there. I'll fit all I can in the ZR1, the Lambo won't hold much of anything, just one person and an ego. News 8 and Fox 7 should be there to cover the event for the news too.
When you get to the main gate off of 35th street. Tell the guards at the gate that you are there for the Toys for Tots event, they will let you in. After proceeding past the gate, turn right at the first stop sign. At the second stop sign, turn right again. Proceed straight until you see a building labeled PX, you should see where to park your cars. There will be some military vehicles with machine guns mounted on them for us.
I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Hey Jason, what time does this event start? Is it a formal show or just a showing of cars? What sort of price per individual toy are you targeting?

I'll probably be there at 10:30, but the event is advertised to start at 11am. No targeted price or age group on the toys. I would just get something for a child under 10 or so. We'll see ya there.

Event directions
Attached is a map on how to get to the parking area for the NCCA - Toys for Tots event (and troop send off).
We will be parking in from of those old iconic warehouses that you see from Mopac. The front of those buildings is on the west side of them, opposite from the Mopac side.
Take 35th street west of Mopac. The turn right onto Maintenance drive. Tell the guard you are there for Toys for Tots (you must tell them this)
Proceed until the road T's into another, turn right. I think in about 100 yards the road will Y off, turn right. This road will take straight in to the parking lot of those iconic warehouses. Park and enjoy.

I'm really looking forward to this event. Been cleaning/waxing my car since 4 pm. Got a bag full of toys in the trunk. Got Mrs. Tremor1 coming along and maybe my Son. Just hoping the rain stays away.
