I have a friend at work - a single mother who doesn't make a lot of money - who needs a 3.8 V6 engine for her 02 blazer. Anyone out there know where she may get one for a reasonable price in the DFW area?

That generation of Blazer has always used the 4.3 V6. Here's one near Dallas:

The Blazer switched to a multi-point fuel-injection system around 2002-2003, so I'm not sure if this will be the same engine or not.
