A forum member says this a is father and son team, one owns a silver and the other LMB one. He took this picture at a car show I just wanted to find out if they are forum members, anyone know?

That's them! I believe Ray Jr. lives in Chickasha or Ninnekah Oklahoma.
I have looked at both cars very close on several occasions and I can tell you they are expertly done. Both cars are steel frame doner cars. I do not believe they are Forum members.

Ray Craig is my uncle, he's been collecting Corvettes since before I was born.
He's got a barn full of them.
A couple of the posters were right - these are steel-frame donor cars. They built these (along with their Z06 convertibles) out of base convertibles, having Lingenfelter pull Z06 and ZR1 body parts off of the assembly line to be swapped out at Knipplemier Chevrolet in Norman.
Appropriate body stiffening has been added and the cars were showcased and inspected at the Corvette Museum, along with their Z06 'vert counterparts.
I joined recently to purchase and modify my own C5 - I just did a search to see if anyone else had heard of my uncle. It's kind-of cool that I found this thread.
Anyway, sorry for the necrobump - carry on with your lives.
