Default Want to trade my B&B Fusion Bi-mods C6 Z06 exhaust for something slightly louder.

I am looking to trade my Fusions for something slightly louder. Let me know what you have. They are in near mint condition. 8000mi. Thanks all.
Austin area only. I can arrange for a lift and swap if need be.

Are they louder than the bullets? I have bullets with 4k on them in perfect shape, and might want something quieter after adding LT headers tomorrow.

No, they are quieter than the bullets. Even with the valves open they are quieter. Where are you having the cam installed? My car is at EG right now having some work done.

Yeah, I saw your car, great looking ride!. I live at EG, and am usually up there 2-3 times a week since it is right down the road from me.(I break a lot of parts, too). EG will be doing a custom blower cam for me later on. I had the mayhem in My C5Z and loved it NA, but want something a little different for my needs FI. Shooting for 700rwhp and a 9.8-9.9 pass @ 10psi.

However, I don't think our exhaust will work, you have a z06. Isn't that 3 inch and mine isn't? Let me know if so, I don't mind swapping them out if they work.

Thanks for the compliments. You are right. The 3" Z exhaust does not fit the C6...more importantly the 2.5" would not fit the Z. I wish I lived right around the corner!

I took my straight pipes off when I bought Mark's old muffler modded stock Z exhaust. Go figure. None of us in this thread are happy with our exhausts, all of us wanting something else.

Hell no man! I had bullets on the car (prod should have kept them) and after the blower install they were louder than I liked. The Fusions are a bit TOO quiet. I cant imagine the noise and drone with straight pipes.

B&B has offered to trade me straight across for one of their new C6Z PRT systems. I am going to take them up on the offer. Thanks B&B. Look forward to an install and sound/function thread in the C6Z section when the system arrives.

I am looking forward to your report after the exhaust swap. I agree about the Fussions being too quiet. Even with headers and no cats, Still too quiet.

I hope to have the swap made next week. Are you making it to TX2K11?

I have an 07 Z with twin turbos with the Fusions as well. They are way quieter than the bullets I had on my 05 C6, partly because of the exhaust having to flow through the turbos. I just spoke to B&B and they are recommending a custom bullet setup so I'm very curious if you got yours in and what the difference was in sound?

I have the Fusions as well and am also not that thrilled about how quiet they are on my C6Z. Coming from a straight pipe swap, I should have figured as much. What I'm looking for is something in between the loudness of straight pipes and the Fusions. So which exhaust did you end up with...Bullets...PRT System??? ..and are you now happy with that setup.

I ended up going with a custom built set of bullets. B&B made me a set with the lower cans removed and dipped in black ceramic. The result is a VERY nice growl and a great look!

You can see and here them here:
