Official Houston and surrounding areas discussion thread
ask questions, talk about local shops, events, news, etc.
and discuss possible small meets. Once we have a solid date, we can start a new thread just for the meet that day

I can't wait to meet other vette owners in the area. Just moved down here a couple weeks ago and drive a c5 z06. I also have a porsche 944 turbo that I'm building an ls1 to swap in.

There is a corvette show up in the woodlands Hooters next weekend and then another in clear lake park off of Nasa (Corvettes and Crawfish)the weekend after that.

Been trying to get my Bolton LS2 into the 10s (best run of 11.2 so far) and with not a lot of good weekends left I probably won't do it because a nasty cam will be going in this summer to shoot for 10.5s next winter. I only got to make three passes with the current setup because I was never able to get out in good weather or baytown always barked for no rollbars. Oh well...I want this car cammed too much to hold off to try for 10s with boltons next winter :P
Generally I'm driving around with my wife in our XLR-V during the week (it's our commuter car for work, lol), so you'd probably spot us in that during the week rather than the vette.
