I haven't been around much with my '85 still down for the count. I just got a new clutch in the '01 Z and had the torque tube rebuilt though so I'm looking forward to the return of driving weather!

Wish my C5 was the EB color. Couldn't have found the deal I found on my pewter FRC though.

I'm right there with you, I drove an EB Z06 when I bought mine but it was more expensive, had more miles and was in worse shape but I love the color.

Finally got the engine back from the machine shop. Lapped the valves and assembled the heads. Assembled the long block and ready to stab it back in the Vette.

Looks good, and right at a month too. Should be just enough time to get everything broken in for the track!

So is this part of a Tulsa vette club? Got my first one in October and would love to meet up with some other vette owners!

Well there are a couple of clubs in our area but the largest, most active is Tulsa Vette Set. We would be more than happy to have you come to a few of our meetings and see if you would be interested:-)
Please PM me for any other information you would like to know.

Didn't know there was a Tulsa vette thread. Can't wait to take mine to the track once it opens back up. Moved here in October and so far love it. I own a blown C5Z auto.

I've got a C5Z as well, although the weather hasn't cooperated with me getting it out the last couple of weeks.

Yes, I did all the work myself in a garage on jack stands and 2x4s but I did bother the hell out of ECS, RPM and a ton of people on here during the process. I have some pics on and a thread that I stopped updating.

There's a lot of random pics but I would start at the end and work your way up (link starts on last page which is when I started the blower install and a McLeod clutch that went out 5k miles after, which was one reason that convinced me to go auto)
